Snow?

Yes...it is true, it snowed in Houston! Yesterday it was in the high 70's and today it snowed. It was so fun dressing Allie in an adorable sweater, fashion tights, and a super cute hat. I LOVE IT! The best part is that Allie is in love with her winter wardrobe as well and doesn't put up a fuss to keep it on. Hopefully it stays that way.

Tonight we let Allie open one of her Christmas presents. We won't be able to bring it with us to Utah and I wanted to give her a few days to play with it before we leave. She was SO excited to open her gift...can't you tell by the huge grin on her face?!

Once she saw it all set up she said "Oh snap!"...a phrase she learned from her dad. Which reminds me of a funny story. While in sacrament meeting Kyle got out some gold fish to keep her quiet and when she saw the cup of gold fish she said "Oh snap" quite loudly. So much for keeping her quiet!

I got out her tea set to test out her gift. I think she is going to love having a table and chair just her size. And since she is in love with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty I thought this was the perfect set!

Oklahoma Christmas

While we were in Oklahoma with Kit and Shana we decided to have Christmas a little early. This worked out great because we didn't have to mail the gifts and we got to watch each other open them. They got Allie gloves, hat, a backpack, and some Minnie sippy cups.

I got spoiled with a Williams Sonoma cookbook, super cute pot holders, and a Wall flower & refills from Bath & Body Works.

Kyle loved his fishing shirt and Browning hat.

Allie loved to help us open our presents.

Brigham was so excited to open his presents.

After we opened Christmas presents, we left for Chuck-E-Cheese's to celebrate Brighams 2nd birthday. Happy Birthday Brigs!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Oklahoma with our sister-in-law's family. They really welcomed us into their home. The food was delicous!! Thanks Bittle family, we love you guys!

My Man!

Yesterday we celebrated our 4th anniversary. Time has gone so fast and much has happened in the last 4 years. To celebrate, Kyle took me out to dinner at this adorable restaurant called Michalangelos. It is an old house turned into an upscale Italian restaurant. Delicious! Thanks to our friends Annie and Joe who watched our little Allie while we had a night out. I'm so grateful to be married to such a wonderful man. I love his ambition, hard work, and humor. He is so sweet to me and Allie. I'm blessed to have a man who loves the Lord. Thanks for all you do for our little family, I love you babe! The post wouldn't be complete without a flashback to our wedding day. What a wonderful day!

Melt My Heart!

Allie asked for a glass of water from me the other day and before I gave it to her she gave me a hug and kiss and said "I love you." "Oh, you love me? How much?" "Big dinosaur," she exclaimed, giving me another kiss. It totally melted my heart!

Kyle and I have been telling her to take "big dinosaur bites" when eating foods that aren't necessarily her favorite. I love that she took that term and used it to describe how much she loves me. I thought it was pretty clever...she is such a smart girl!

Conquered!

She is officially King (or Queen) of the Potty! We are so proud of her and she is so proud of herself. For the most part this was a pleasant experience. I tried using the Potty training in less than a day method and although I didn't follow the book step for step, it worked pretty well. I started training her on Monday and she has had only 2 accidents since. Way to go Allie!!!

Fall Festival

Tonight Allie and I went to our ward's Fall Festival. They served dinner, had games and contests, and then ended with a trunk or treat for the kids. Allie loved trick or treating! She would even say "trick or treat." Kyle is in Mexico on a business trip till Friday so I'm posting lots of pictures for him to look at while he is gone.

Fun Two Weeks

Kit (Kyle's twin brother) had a training class down here in Houston for 2 weeks and he brought his wife, Shana & my favorite nephew, Brigham. He is only 2 months younger than Allie. We had so much fun with them. I'm sad to see them go but we will be spending Thanksgiving with them so we'll see them in a few weeks.

Kit is still in my dog house for making a funny face for this picture. Just kidding.

Say CHEESE!

OIL RANCH

A couple of weeks ago I took Allie to Oil Ranch as a playgroup activity for my ward. We had lots of fun. We got to go on a train ride, a hay ride, and a pony ride. We got to feed cows and pick out a pumpkin.
She was really nervous riding the pony at first, but was pretty comfortable by the end of the loop.

Brunette?

Ok...so it was time for a change. What do you think? I was so nervous but I knew I was in very capable hands. My very talented friend cut and colored my hair yesterday. Thanks Lora for doing my hair...I love it! And so does Kyle :)

(The sunlight behind me and the flash of my camera lightened the color of my hair - it is a little darker)
