Allie Update

In BYU student wards, babies only have to be 14 months to start nursery as opposed to 18 months. So Allie has been going to nursery for a few weeks now. A couple of week ago she brought home her first picture. She obviously didn't draw the pretty cloud but did a great job on the red scribbles. What can I say...I'm a proud mom!

Two days ago I thought I would let Allie try going to the bathroom in her potty and she went after only sitting on it for a few minutes. Yesterday she went twice!! She doesn't know how to tell me she has to go potty but if I ask her if she needs to go she runs to the bathroom.

Mom's attempt at curling my hair!

So after I saw my adorable little niece's hair curled I had to try it on Allie. As long as I keep her marshmallow mateys cup full (which by the way she picks out the marshmallows and leaves the cereal!) and let her play with my phone she will barely sit still long enough for me to curl her hair. The first attempt at curling her hair was while she was watching Elmo and that was not a good idea because she kept trying to dance to the songs. She is really starting to talk and copy what we say. Most of the time it sounds nothing like the word she is trying to say :)
