*Allie was frustrated not being able to open the cupboard and get her own snack so she grunted and started to fake cry. I offered to get her a snack and she replied "I'm too sad" while putting her hands to her face and continuing to fake cry. - so dramatic!
*If I ask her to hold me she will wrap her little arms around my neck and squeeze tightly. Then she'll say over and over again "you OK, you fine" - so sweet!
*I offered her an apple for a snack and she promptly replied, "no mom, apples all gone...um, what 'bout ice cream?" - so smart!

Friends
We have started this really sweet setup where our friends watch Allie one Friday so Kyle and I can have a date night and then we swap the next week and watch their adorable little girl Sophie. The girls are about 10 months apart and have tons of fun together.
Here are some pictures my friend took of the girls tickling each other.

Favorite Snack
Here in Houston they only sell the fluffy, kid bread...I seriously considered bringing home Grandma Sycamore bread in my suitcase when I went to Utah for Christmas. Instead I decided to learn how to make homemade bread. So a couple of weeks ago a few friends of mine got together and made bread. Since then I've had to make a batch weekly because it has become a favorite snack for both Kyle and Allie. Another added benefit is that it cost me $2 to make 2 loaves while Walmart sells one loaf of fluffy bread for around $2.50.
Allie tore off pieces to snack on while this batch was cooling.
