Graduation!!!!

Allie & I are so proud of Kyle and all of his hard work to finish school. We know it wasn't easy for him working & going to school full time but now it is over (at least until graduate school :) This was such an exciting day for us. Thanks to all of our family for supporting us!

18 Months Old

Ok, so Allie is almost 19 months old but she just had her 18 month check up at the doctors today. She was in the 93% for height (34.7in) and 33% for weight (23.7lbs). She got her last shot today!!! Well, at least until kindergarten. She has 15 teeth now with another one on the way. We just love our little girl and are always having so much fun with her. She is always learning new things. Today Kyle and I quickly counted how many words she knew off the top of our heads and we counted 40+. She makes lots of animal noses and can point out some face & body parts. This is such a fun stage! We love our little Allie-Bear!

High School Friends

Rachel (Willardson) Lomardi came home to Utah from Cali for her sister's graduation and called me up to go to lunch. Rachel has an adorable one year old girl named Marie. Mark Bean also came to lunch. Mark is graduating in a few days and moving to Boston for a job he got out there. It is fun to be able to get together with them and see how much life has changed since high school. It is weird how far away from Utah will all are going. Rachel in California, me in Houston, and Mark in Boston. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can get together again.

Finding Nemo!

After months of being in love with Shrek, Allie has found Nemo! She loves it and will sit in her little purple chair to watch it. Allie also loves the adorable little baby stroller she got from her grandparents. I have to remind her that it is for the baby and that she isn't suppose to sit in it. She loves pushing it around the house.

Fun time with friends

On Monday night we had a great time in the canyon roasting hot dogs with our friends. Kyle had taken his last final hours before and it was fun hanging out and not worrying about Kyle having to go home and study.

Flashback!

So I was going through some papers trying to condense everything before the move and I came across some old pictures of us. Most of you know that Kyle took me on my very first date on my 16th birthday. My mom had to take a picture of the event and my dad thought he needed to be in on the picture.

A similar picture was taken at our wedding. We got married on my dad's birthday so now we share a very special day.

Back to the date, we doubled with Kyle's really good friend and we ate Wendy's in the canyon. Afterwards we went to the dollar movie and watched U5791 (or whatever that movie is). I was so nervous that I was going to get home late from the date that we left the movie 20 minutes early to make sure I was home by 12:00.

Kyle also took me to my first dance. We went to Homecoming together. WOW - Look how times change!
Kyle use to call me almost every night at 10:00. My dad would always answer and tell me that Raphael was on the phone because for some reason the name Kyle or Revell was too difficult to remember. That quickly became his nick name in our family. Kyle and I stayed really good friends through high school and I wrote him casually on his mission. Once he came home I knew he was the one for me. Love ya Kyle!
