Belly Pictures

I've had requests for belly pictures...so here you go.

{I'm 30 weeks....and as you can see I'm definitely getting close to the finish line!}

Allie is learning so much, so fast! She can identify most letters, understands the difference between uppercase and lowercase, and is learning the sounds the letters make. The other day in the car she said, "ka, ka, 'K', like kangaroo." I have to give some of the credit to a website she plays on called Starfall.com.

{I love this toy from LeapFrog. It has really helped her identify and write her letters. As you can see she can work on the lowercase 'e' a little more :)}

My Valentines

We had a great Valentines! We woke up to bubble buns, enjoyed a nice Sunday nap, and then Kyle made a delicious dinner for us. I love my family!

{I love this picture. Allie loves her babies & stuffed animals and sleeps with them every night. It cracks me up when she comes into our room in the middle of the night because her arms are stuffed with every single toy you see here, and then she tries to line them up in our bed and sneak in before we notice her and take her back.}

January

*The weather in Houston has been amazing...high 60's and low 70's. Which means Allie and I have spent hours outside visiting different parks nearby. One of the parks close to our house has a pond that stocks rainbow trout in the winter. They even allow you to catch the trout using corn (which is against the law in Utah). Here is us fishing one Saturday morning.

* We've been using the crib headboard as Allie's headboard, but seeing that we'll be needing the crib soon we started looking on Craigslist for a twin bed for Allie. We found this one for cheap. Kyle was so excited to bring out the tools to fix this bed up for Allie.

Final product! It was more work than I thought it would be, but we love how it turned out!

Things to Remember

~

*Allie LOVES to play mom. She makes me call her mom and she calls me 'sweet girl.' She'll pretend to make me lunch and put me down for a nap. She'll ask me if I'm scared and that if I am I can pray to Heavenly Father or sing a song. It was so cute to see that she remembered what I told her one night when she said she was scared of the dark. She is going to be the best big sister!

*Allie is a princess from head to toe all. the. time! And thanks to Allie's grandma's, she is supplied with an entire wardrobe of outfits and accessories to choose from.
