Happy Halloween!!! Here are some pictures of Allie's second Halloween. This time we actually went trick or treating. She was the cutest little butterfly!

Always "Cheesing It"

Whoa!! Check out their costumes!

Of few of the ladies in the ward took our kids in their Halloween costumes to the library. The library had a cute little Halloween parade where the kids got to show off their costumes. Allie got to wear her costume a lot this year!

This week was really fun for our family. Aunt Angie and cousin Olivia came to town for a few days. The girls had a fun time playing in the leaves!

Mom, I'm not quite sure what you want me to do.

Mom is teaching me how to play in the leaves!

Me, London (Olivia's cousin on the other side) & Olivia!

This morning Allie came over to me and reached for me. When I went to pick her up she turned and ran toward the TV. Then she pointed to the TV and then looked at me. I knew she wanted to watch her Elmo videos. She will pretty much watch them start to finish which is around 30 minutes long. I got out her baby bouncer that is designed to be a seat for an older child. I was able to get the house cleaned and make breakfast while Elmo entertained her!

Allie's first car ride with her seat forward facing!!!

Thursday, October 4, 2007

Allie had her 1 year doctor's appointment today. She weights 19 lbs 9 oz (23 %) and is 29.7 inches (66%). She also received 5 more shots!!! She is doing great (besides her small cold) and the doctor has now given us permission to feed her anything. I asked about turning her car seat around and he said that she isn't quite 20 lbs but she definitely has the muscle strength to be forward facing. He said to keep her rear facing for the next month or two just because it the safest, but if she starts getting fussy or wanting to look around we could put her foward facing.

Allie had a GREAT birthday. Her terrible stuffy nose didn't keep her from stuffing her face with cake! We just want to thank everyone for your gifts, love, and thoughtfulness. We are really blessed to have such a great family!
